Individuals can acquire citizenship in Turkey by buying property in Turkey. There are certain legal criteria which can be summarized as following:

  • The value of the property must be more than USD 250.000 
  • The property and its seller must satisfy certain criteria defined in Law 
  • Buyer must grant not to sell the property within 3 years after the acquisition 
  • All the required documents and forms must be completed properly and submitted to  Land Registry Directorate and Immigration Authority

  • Obtaining a report that shows the value of property 
  • Applying to the authorized Land Registry Directorate
